I miss mom so much at this time of year. I find myself having to really dig deep everyday to find happiness and contentment. I have a great life I'm very blessed but there is one thing missing and its my mom. Its hard to be truely happy without her. Her birthday is next week and thanksgiving, I was never without her on the holidays.

I am in Arizona at my daughter Ashleys' and she shared this blog with me. Your mom was one of my most favorite people in Evanston! I miss her too. When I go to my steps class, it seems like I always take the top step and it just happens to be the one with Humphrey written on it! I always get a big lump in my throat and know she is saying hello! Always remember that she will live on forever through the lives of her children and grandchildren. Always follow her example! You were the love and pride of her life!!
